Within a magnificent mountain scenery, the traditional tavern “To Kati Allo”, is a destination for travelers, locals or foreigners who wish to enjoy the local traditional recipes, cooked with fresh, high quality ingredients of our own  production and with the unique care of Mrs. Anthoula and the “meraki”(passion) of Mr. Petros.

The large variety of traditional dishes, from meat to salads and desserts, offers to visitors moments of real pleasure in a wonderful and warm environment.

The staff is hospitable and eager to satisfy all your wishes and will guarantee your immediate service.

We are ready to welcome you during the winter in a warm, friendly and family environment, with the company of the fireplace and during the summer outside at the kiosk, enjoying the peace and calmness combined with the breeze of Skra.

Traditional stone-built houses and coffee shops guide you through the history of the area while the narrations of the elders regarding the glorious battle of Skra and the execution of the teacher Vasiliki Papathanasiou cause sentiments of intense emotion and pride for your ancestors.

At the cobbly square of the village, the WWI- Battle of Skra Museum is located with a rich collection of documents, photographs, military equipment and uniforms of the military forces that participated in the WWI.

The WWI- Battle of Skra Museum operates since May 2002 in a properly shaped place. The idea of creating a Museum belongs to the Cultural Association of Skra and it was embraced and realized by the Municipality of Axioupoli.

The Museum`s exhibition presents heirlooms, photographs and historic documents from the Macedonian Front of the WWI as well as from the decisive for the Greeks victorious battle of Skra, the well known victorious battle of May 17th, 1918 (Battle of Skra), one of the toughest of the Macedonian Front.

The purpose of the creation of the exhibition is to remind and exemplify to all of us today and to the next generations, their heroism and their self-sacrifice!
